Needed a trustworthy electrician for my mother, TCC had lots of great reviews online so we called in and they made the process very easy. Mum loved the guys who showed up to do the job, the service & the work quality were both excellent. Thanks again and you'll hear from us soon.

Excellent work done by the extremely responsive team. Max attended to the job at our house and was extremely good and professional. Great job.

Jordan was prompt to arrive & fixed many things for me that had gone haywire over L4 Lockdown - cooktop, expel-air, switches, lights, fusebox, even had a look at my dishwasher, etc. Professional, friendly & helpful - would highly recommend. Many thanks Jordan.

100% Best Electricians in Auckland, Great Communication, Very impressed with the Service. Excellent advice on healthy home compliance. Impressed with work done, completed to a high standard. Very professional and easy to deal with. Highly recommend TCCO.

What a great experience from start to finish. Jordan who came to quote was very helpful and knowledgeable, giving us great ideas for what we could apply in our home. The quote was thorough and detailed, booking was easy, kept us updated the whole time.

Top notch business. Service was A+++. Arrived on time. Technicians introduced themselves on arrival. Very polite. Extremely efficient. Quietly went about their work. Business booking system was great. Quick and well laid out. Payment system likewise, very smooth.

We have used these guys a couple of times and have been very pleased each time. They did what was requested, but also left an immaculate job, with extra touches like labels on the switches for our outdoor lights. We will definitely be using Jordan and the team again!

We had Ollie and Kegan install a hanging pendant light in our entry way. They were super professional and did a fantastic job. We had great communication with them, really easy to deal with, highly recommend.
Frequently Asked Questions
Phone, Data & WiFi Installation Services in Auckland
Can you run data cabling in a finished house without cutting up the ceiling?
Often, yes. Where there is usable roof space or an accessible wall cavity, The Conduction Company runs cable from above and drops it down to the outlet, so the only visible work is the outlet itself. Homes with skillion or mono pitch roofs, concrete floors, or no ceiling access need a different route, and we tell you what that involves before you commit to anything.
How much does data cabling cost?
The Conduction Company prices data cabling per outlet, and the figure moves with the length of the run, how accessible the ceiling or wall cavity is, and how many points are being terminated in one visit. There is no useful single number, because one point in an open ceiling and twelve points through a two storey villa are different jobs wearing the same name. The Conduction Company confirms the price after a property assessment, before any work starts.
Will a mesh WiFi system fix bad coverage, or do I need cabling?
Usually both, not one or the other. Mesh units still have to talk to each other, and if they do that over the air in a house with thick walls or a long footprint, you inherit the same weak link you started with. The Conduction Company runs a cable to each access point wherever the building allows it, which gives every unit a full strength connection back to the router and turns a patchy mesh into a consistent one.
What does structured cabling actually mean?
It means every data outlet in the building runs back to one central point instead of being daisy chained off the last one. The Conduction Company terminates those runs at a patch panel so each outlet can be identified, tested, and reassigned without pulling new cable. That is what makes a network straightforward to fault find later, which is the part most people only value the first time something breaks.
Is it worth running ethernet cable through a house?
Yes, if you want the connection to be consistent rather than mostly fine. A cabled point does not drop out when the house is busy or the neighbour's network is loud, and it is the only reliable way to feed a TV, a desk, or a WiFi access point at the far end of a long house. The Conduction Company usually recommends cabling the things that stay put and leaving WiFi for the things that move.
Do you need a registered electrician to install data cabling?
Not by law. Data cabling runs at extra low voltage, and Schedule 1 of the Electricity (Safety) Regulations 2010 puts work on fittings intended solely for connection to supplies not exceeding extra low voltage outside the definition of prescribed electrical work. The Conduction Company is an accredited Dynamix structured cabling installer and does this work with its own electricians anyway, because the same job almost always needs power at the rack or the outlet, and that part is prescribed electrical work.
