Landlords and property managers have to know whether a rental's ceiling and underfloor insulation meets the Healthy Homes insulation standard. The Conduction Company assesses what is installed, measures it against that standard, and reports whether it meets it and what it would take if it does not. That is insulation only: The Conduction Company does not assess a property against the heating, ventilation, or moisture and drainage standards, and does not tell a landlord that a tenancy is exempt from any of them.

Do you do heating and ventilation as well?
Yes. The Conduction Company installs heat pumps and home ventilation systems, and insulation is offered alongside them, because heat that is made still needs to be kept in and moisture still needs somewhere to go.
Do downlights have to be kept clear of insulation?
Yes, and it matters. Covering the wrong fitting is a fire risk. The Conduction Company keeps the required clearance around fittings and fans, and where old downlights are the problem we will tell you what it would take to replace them with something that can be covered.
Can insulation be done at the same time as other work?
That is usually the cheapest way to do it. The Conduction Company is already in the ceiling for downlights, extract fans, or rewiring, so reinstating and topping up insulation while we are up there avoids a second trip.
