Oven Repair in Auckland

Oven dead, heating unevenly, or tripping the power? The Conduction Company repairs ovens across Auckland, diagnoses the fault properly, and tells you whether it is worth fixing before any money goes into it.

Are You Experiencing Problems with Your Oven?

  • An oven that has stopped heating altogether
  • Food burning on one side and raw on the other
  • The power tripping every time the oven is switched on
  • An element that glows, then dies halfway through cooking
  • A temperature dial that no longer matches anything
  • A burning smell or scorch marks at the oven connection
  • A new oven bought with no circuit that will take it
  • Not knowing whether the oven is worth fixing at all

An oven that trips the power can be the appliance or the circuit behind it, and guessing means paying for a part that was never the problem. The Conduction Company repairs ovens across Auckland, diagnoses the fault before anything is ordered, and gives you a straight repair or replace answer, including the switchboard side when that turns out to be the cause.

Keeping Your Property Safe, Compliant, and Running Smoothly

Electrical systems don’t fail all at once they deteriorate slowly, then break suddenly. Most homeowners only call an electrician when something stops working, but by then the damage is already done: tripped circuits, hot-water failures, overloaded switchboards, or hidden faults that put your family at risk.

Our reliable electrician team in Auckland
handles everything from emergency breakdowns to preventative maintenance, helping Auckland homes stay safe, compliant, and efficient all year round.

Oven Repair and Installation Services

Oven Fault Diagnosis

An oven that has stopped, cooks unevenly, or trips the circuit usually comes down to an element, a thermostat, or the wiring behind it. The Conduction Company starts with a proper diagnosis rather than a guess, so you find out what has actually failed before you decide.

Element and Thermostat Replacement

Elements burn out and thermostats drift. Both are common, both are repairable, and The Conduction Company handles them as electrical work with the certificate to match.

Oven Installation

New oven going in, whether it is a replacement or part of a kitchen. The Conduction Company runs the circuit, connects the appliance, tests it, and certifies the work.

Cooktop Installation

Induction, ceramic, and electric cooktops. A modern induction cooktop often needs more supply than the old unit it replaces, and The Conduction Company checks that before the bench gets cut rather than after.

Rangehood Installation

Supply, mounting, and the ducting connection. The Conduction Company installs rangehoods as part of a kitchen fitout or on their own.

Extract Fan Installation

Bathroom and kitchen extract fans, wired, switched, and tested. The Conduction Company also fits extraction that meets the Healthy Homes standard, which is a separate service with its own requirements.

Repair or Replace, Answered Straight

Some ovens are worth repairing and some are not. Once The Conduction Company knows what has failed, you get a straight answer on which one yours is, including when the honest answer is that a new oven is the better buy.

What The Conduction Company Repairs, and What It Does Not

The Conduction Company repairs ovens. That is the appliance repair service, and it is deliberately narrow.

The Conduction Company does not repair fridges, freezers, washing machines, dryers, or dishwashers. For those, we point clients at Norwest Appliance Services, who do that work daily. Call them on 09 833 4702.

Installation is wider than repair, and the two are not the same thing. The Conduction Company installs ovens, cooktops, rangehoods, and extract fans. So a new dishwasher circuit is electrical work we do; a broken dishwasher is not.

Why choose The Conduction Company?

It Is Electrical Work, Done by Registered Electricians

An oven is a fixed appliance on its own circuit. The Conduction Company sends registered electricians, not appliance handymen, so the repair and the certificate come from the same company.

Lifetime Workmanship Guarantee

The Conduction Company backs its workmanship for life. The appliance carries its own manufacturer warranty, which is a separate thing and not ours to extend.

We have used these guys a couple of times and have been very pleased each time. They did what was requested, but also left an immaculate job, with extra touches like labels on the switches for our outdoor lights. We will definitely be using Jordan and the team again!

Frequently Asked Questions

Oven Repair in Auckland

How quickly can someone come out?

The Conduction Company is reachable 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and we aim to respond to an enquiry the same day. Non-urgent work is typically booked in within 7 days.

Do I get a certificate for the work?

Yes. Connecting or repairing a fixed appliance is prescribed electrical work, and The Conduction Company issues the certificate for it like any other job.

Is an oven repair worth it, or should I just replace it?

It depends on the part and the age of the appliance. The Conduction Company gives you that answer after the diagnosis, and we will tell you when a replacement is the better buy rather than sell you a repair.

Can you install an oven I have already bought?

Usually yes for an appliance, and it is worth a conversation first. The Conduction Company normally supplies fittings on electrical work, because we have to certify the installation is safe and can only stand behind brands and fittings we know. A client-supplied item is not covered by our replacement warranty.

My oven trips the power. Is that the oven or the wiring?

It can be either, and that is the first thing The Conduction Company establishes. A failing element commonly trips an RCD, but so can a fault in the circuit itself. Testing separates the two before anything gets replaced.

Do you repair other appliances, like a dishwasher or a washing machine?

No. The Conduction Company repairs ovens only. For fridges, freezers, washing machines, dryers, and dishwashers we refer clients to Norwest Appliance Services on 09 833 4702. We are still happy to do any electrical work around them, including the circuit an appliance runs on.

What Affects the Cost of an Oven Repair?

Which part has failed, whether the part is still available for that model, how accessible the oven is, and whether the circuit feeding it needs attention too. The Conduction Company prices the job after diagnosing it.

We quote on facts, not guesses

Before we give you a price, we carry out a proper assessment of your property and how you'll use the appliance.
That way you know exactly what you're buying and the total cost, with no surprises.
