The brief
A commercial office in New Lynn was having a full renovation, with new timber-framed walls going in. The electrical work had to follow the builders: wiring into the open frames first, then fitting off once the walls were finished. The client also wanted the meeting room TV positions wired to the presenter's seat, and a hidden supply behind a new feature wall for a sign planned for later.
What we did
The Conduction Company worked alongside the builders through the whole renovation. The team pre-wired the new timber-framed walls, then came back to fit off. Over 29 site days, 4 of The Conduction Company's team made 46 visits and logged about 206 scheduled crew hours.
The Conduction Company installed 21 double power outlets and ran 116 metres of Cat6 data cable to 7 data outlets. The team also fitted 10 surface-mount frames for 1200 x 600 LED ceiling panels.
In the meeting room, The Conduction Company ran HDMI cable from the TV positions to the presenter's seat, finished with 3 HDMI wall plates. Behind the new feature wall, the team left a concealed switched supply ready for a future neon sign.
